Angels work here, literally. Almost the entire nursing staff were so kind and treated us with the most love and respect. My son was born very quickly so he had a lot of fluid on his lungs and all of the nurses made sure they checked on me and my husband too and how we were doing which made us feel like we were cared for as a whole and not just as a paycheck. Take your baby here if you want them to be neglected so much that they breath hold from crying which in return creates random destats after days of being clear and then delays them coming home I have had an nicu baby before the level of distress she has from being changed just from mishandling there is insane she literally turns bright red scared This Nicu is just horrible
The only reason for the two stars would be they allow me to stay several nights in the NICU with my first son, first baby who was born at 35 weeks and 1 day, and maybe 3 great nurses since he was born. We are working on being on the third week of having to stay there because of feedings. He was making great process of back to back things such as taken off the IV, no longer checking his sugar levels, no oxygen needed, constant weight gain.
