All stars to Kim, Johnathan Y MD, the radiologist. The radiologist; a Kim, Johnathan Y MD. was excellent and demonstrated astute observation unlike others at Mt. Auburn who failed to mention what could be seen on their reports. Backdrop to going to the Emerson ER: I went in there with 'back pain' but I had a very good idea where it could be coming from; 'crumbled' vertebrae. To explain, I had an MRI from Mt. Auburn (2024). 5 stars for the attending MD who was so kind & PCT and radiology! I’m disgusted by the RN who didn’t even introduce herself for 2 hours. I asked multiple of her colleagues to check in with my RN who I didn’t know who she was because she didn’t come to my room. Concerning that she handles people’s care. I had to ask her what her name was. I was also unimpressed by how slow the process was for such an urgent matter.

Ridiculously slow ER, and when we got here the receptionist was immediately telling us, "We don't discuss what insurance we take!" Like...okay. Rude, first of all, but also: how do I know if my sister can even be seen? You planning on hitting us with that bill out of nowhere after we leave? And when my sister got out of the tests, they didn't hook her IV back up, wasting two additional hours of everyone's time. But she can at least wait in the room they put her in, right? Nope! I cannot give them enough stars!! I came in from Leominster ER after 3 hours of bleeding and half conscious, they got me in right away. Every single person there was so compassionate, kind and made me feel safe in their care. Mark & another gentleman who I forget his name were so incredibly kind. I will never forget this visit because of how scary it was but also because of how they restored my faith in healthcare. Thankyou Mark & all the staff here, you are all truly amazing people.
