I took my cat to Dowagiac Animal Hospital and had a HORRIBLE experience. This place was a complete 180. Everyone was so kind and compassionate and actually cared about my cat. Without going into too much detail, they made it clear they were trying to make it as affordable as possible and didn't suggest doing extra diagnostics because the treatment would likely stay the same, which I really appreciated. everyone was super helpful and understanding. they explained everything and answered all my questions. the level of empathy and trying to find a solution was something i really appreciated. were not able to find a solution yet but they were very helpful and tried everything they could. waiting time to go in was long but its like an er for humans. long wait time but i do feel they give each animal the attention they need. very grateful they are around for animal parents to go to after hours. pricing was to be expected and did... read more
You took great care of our Teddy. You were very kind to my husband during this terrible time. You found answers, that we were trying to be figured out over the past two months. Even though it was too late, and we had to put our fur baby to sleep on Saturday. We will forever be thankful and will not hesitate to bring his brother if it is ever needed. Thank you! Unfortunately, I was not there due to having a huge conference the following day. This will forever be one of my biggest regrets.
They saved the life of our 7-year-old border Collie. She had gotten into something and had hemorrhagic diarrhea. They took care of her for two nights and she is now back to normal. I love this dog very much and I am so thankful that the vets at emergency veterinary care saved her life . Bob Headrick
Everyone at the Emergency Care Center was extremely kind, caring, and compassionate! They all were very knowledgeable and focused, and clearly were very, very good at what they do--caring for your pet in the most stressful of situations plus dealing with how emotional you may be.
