Went in 2 or 3 days after my son started antibiotics for strep throat due to his symptoms getting worse. Doctor barely looked at him and told me he isn't showing any reason to be feeling as miserable as he is. After about an hour they gave him Tylenol and a popsicle and sent us on our way. Went to urgent care next door a few days later and he was having an allergic reaction. I went today for back pain. Genuinely the worst pain I’ve ever been in, in my life. They didn’t treat me there, they felt my back, got me prescriptions to the nearest pharmacy and sent me on my way. Naturally my husband was upset by this, and called to speak to them on the phone again letting them know how unsatisfied we are with the care or lack thereof that I received. Amazing nurses, but the er doctor had no sympathy or care really for how I was doing. Came in with bad GI problems after being told by a triage nurse to go to the ER. When asked, I told her family history of colon cancer to which she responded “you’re too young for that”, told her my father has diverticulitis to which she responded “that’s not genetic”. Talked over me, horrible bedside manner, and basically dismissed all concerns. She was nicer when other people were in the room but when one on one was a completely different... read more
