Literally just leaving this review because doctor David Ries was so kind. I was having severe abdomen pain that literally transported me to a different dimension, and he was kind, attentive and even lightened things up with humor. Dr. Ries made me feel seen and safe when I thought I was dying, lol.
This is one of the best ERs. I don’t even know how to put into words how grateful and appreciative our family is. After feeling disregarded at the Faribault ER department, we came to this hospital. I haven’t seen compassion, care and empathy like this for a while.Thank you Northfield Emergency providers. We see everything you do for us and we appreciate you all.
Shame on you guys... Worst ER Ever!!! They thought I was med seeking, specifically telling me that they couldn't give me narcotics and wouldn't give me anything for my back pain which was literally so severe I couldn't even walk in without assistance. I have an L5 injury that is almost bone on bone. But then you LOUDLY give narcotics to the next person that walks in with a kidney stone?! I was at Northfield Emergency Room last night, July 14, 2024. I had a left hip replacement in 2016. Last night I fell and my left hip joint replacement went out. I was taken to Northfield Emergency (where I requested to go) and the help by the nurses, assistants, Dr. Berglund and Dr. Mann was awesome! I had excellent care by Julia, Amir, Ally and Melanie.
