On July 16, 2026, I went to the St. Luke's Community ER with a swollen ankle that was too painful to walk on. The attending physician, Dr. Gurdeep S. Othee, ordered a blood test and said he would also order an ultrasound. After sitting in the examination room for over two hours, I approached Dr. Othee to ask about next steps. He said he was waiting on the ultrasound results — but I told him I hadn't had the test yet, which clearly surprised him.
