I fell in the high school parking lot and banged my head pretty hard-gash and abrasion on the back. The EMTs arrived quickly, did all the initial tests and questions and transported me to the ER. There, Dr. Robson and the team took very good care of me. Had a CT scan of head & neck, wound area cleaned and a couple of stitches put in, bandaged up. Got me in and out less than 3 hours! I rarely leave reviews for emergency rooms, but my recent experience at [St. Joseph] ER was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. After recently moving to the area, I had to call an ambulance and was brought here during the night shift. I’ve been to many ERs over the years, and this visit was by far the best I’ve ever had. I had to put one star rating to get this review to post! I would not rate Dr. Matthew Brice as he does not deserve a rating. My visit with him was the most awful experience ever. I visited the St. Joseph ER in Caldwell, Texas due to an onset of vomiting as well as a fall after having dinner and a drink with friends. I was very frightened and had no idea what had happened to me. There was not excessive drinking at all as I’m 74 years old and never drink except an occasional drink.
