Ever wonder why there is such a drug epidemic in Socorro county? Look no further than this ER, i have taken 2 family members and 1 friend to this ER in the past year. Each one of them were given fentanyl within 10 minutes of getting into a room, all of which were followed up by even more drugs like hydromorphone and Valium within an hour, then prescribed more narcotics and sent home. While visiting in Socorro I injured my foot while rolling out of the motel bed. We went to the local ER and I was seen immediately. The evaluation and recommendations were very professional and all the staff were courteous and competent.

I took my mom to the ER. She had to stay in the hospital a few days. The attending physician was outstanding. He was clear, compassionate, patient, kind, and thorough. The nurses and staff were all excellent as well. A scary situation was made less scary because the professionalism and clear communication that took place. A+
