Avoid this place. The front staff when you walk in is always eating very large sandwiches. Came in three times now and three times they were eating large sandwiches and drinking large cups of liquid. I just wouldn’t allow that at an emergency room desk. It’s so unprofessional. The nurse Michelle was extremely rude and the doctors don’t want to find out what is wrong, they just want to rush you out like you’re a burden. Entire staff needs to be trained in empathy. Incredible experience at LVH Emergency. I came in with severe sciatic leg pain. The staff was most empathetic. Thanks to Shonda, Don, John and Matt. And especially to Dr. Christopher Connell. They have given me hope, and relief that has been long time coming. Thanks to all at this superb facility. VA referral was huge success.
My daughter was sent here from urgent care due to an abnormal EKG. We got here at 830pm and the Dr did another EKG and said it didn't look good for someone her age. Never saw the dr again until 1145pm ! Then said everything was fine and sent her home . Nurses were rude and not caring at all. Would not come back here
We had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We got right in and had excellent treatment.
Avoid this place! My dad went in for a scary looking spider bite around 3 pm. They wanted to admit him (and so transport him to Lehigh valley hospital). He ended up being there ALL NIGHT because they “were backed up on transport.” They didn’t even give him a hospital bed, he had to stay in a stretcher. He is disabled and already in a lot of pain so what a terrible experience! He didn’t get transported until the the following afternoon, nearly 24 hours later.
