My husband was experiencing a difficult and painful kidney stone on Thursday. Every one in emergency was terrific and professional. Doctor Perry had excellent bedside manner and a wonderful sense of humor. Not a complaint, but I was surprised and a bit put off by one nurse’s very long hair being unbound and falling on to patient. I have never seen that before and it seems a bit unsanitary to have their hair swinging all over the place. As I said, not a complaint, just unusual for that to be allowed in a medical facility. Never have I ever been turned away from an er before. Twice in the same night told they just couldn’t see us they had too many people. Not a car in the lot but ok. Unless you’re gonna be airlifted somewhere else you’ll need to go to Amarillo. NM just sucks for medical care.
I was involved in accident and doctor charged me $4523.00 just to see me for a while and most worst part is without sending me bill they gave bill to collections and when i tried to reach them , they was like we don't have your contact information and now we can't do anything..so i will recommend stay away from them unless you want to get ripped.
Went in today, hospital parking lot and waiting room were EMPTY. Sat for over an hour before a nurse got my vitals and signed me in. Sat for almost another hour waiting to be seen by a dr. Finally got up and walked out of the room to find a nurse and there wasnt a dr. Or a nurse in sight in 3 differant Hallways. Found 1 nurse before i walked out the door.
