The medical professionals are sufficiently competent. However, This facility is disgusting. Not only is it near-inhumanely overcrowded, it’s filthy. Cleaning is not a priority. I can only hope sterilization is. Cleanliness aside, the entire process is disconcerting. People going through discomfort should have more attention and privacy. Very unprofessional behavior by the ER NURSE who cares for the mental patients at the end of the room. I had sinus issues and OCD AND GASTROINTESTINAL ISSUES, unfortunately I was just told to see them respectively. OKAY SO WHY I AM HERE just like that. At the end they didn’t even help me with wheelchair saying we are out. Additionally charged the insurance for $2200 for what. I would have been better off if I had been at Urgent Care rather THAN ER. I will make an official complaint about this situation. Very disappointing
I can see where the poor reviews come from as I witnessed concerning behavior by an lvn toward several pediatric patients. Her badge was covered with several trinkets, so I was unable to see her name. However, my child happened to have a very positive and compassionate experience.
