Just got off the phone with one of their representatives who said the bill was sent to collections due to non payment. I explained to her that I paid it online due to the fact that it was on the Bay Care portal as an emergency room visit. She said again, they never received it so they sent it to collections...at this time I said I'd pay her with a debit card..nope, would not accept it because it already went to collections...already went to collections after being paid, 3 months ago....be afraid of these people...very afraid... read more

The practice has balance billed my daughter who was on Medicaid at the time of service. Although the balance billing of a Medicaid member is illegal, the practice refused to dismiss the charge. They have since sold this debt to a debt collector who has continually harassed our family trying to collect a bogus debt. To whom it may concern: Please know this is in response to your post. If you value your health and wallet, you wont let them be your EMS team nor bill you. No matter how many times I send them my insurance info, they keep billing me until it went to a debt collector, sending threatening letters to ruin my credit and I'm barely in my 20s.

This is strictly about there billing procedures. Making payments, yet I was sent to collections, because as they (the collections company) explained it, they didn't receive enough towards the balance fast enough. Total Balance was just over $400 (after insurance payments finalized in April) and I was paying $100 a month, that bank statements prove. Had to pay the SMALL balance left to the debt collector. If zero was an option they would get it. They are essentially thieves in the open, stealing money from hardworking tax paying insurance carrying people. They work in Baycare hospitals...beware you never see them like in my case I got a PA they charged the insurance 662.00 for.about 10 minutes of service and are now billing me for more money??? Go somewhere else protect your health and wallet.
