I am writing to thank the ER staff at Soldier's Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care I received. I have been there on 2 occasions in the past 2 weeks and both times I was cared for by kind, compassionate staff. They were thorough and took the best care of me. Right from the staff at the desk, the triage nurse, the doctor, the xray department staff...all provided excellent care. In these difficult times in health care I feel so blessed to have the good care I received. Thank you ever so much.
You can’t seriously have an emergency room open from 7:30 am until 1:30 pm. That’s ridiculous and so unsafe. Someone getting into a car accident at 5pm and profusely bleeding will die because they can’t even go into emerg unless they drive 40+ minutes through traffic. Disgusting.
My boyfriend went to the emergency room this morning after projectile vomiting. After waiting in a room for 2 hours with no one checking in on him or seeing any doctor. He wasnt offered anything to drink or eat so after 2 hours with him starving he decided to leave. As he is walking out a nurse tells him they are still waiting on the blood results meanwhile they never drew blood! Big waste of time and a missed day of work for nothing.
