It's very concerning that this is the "best" medical care to which the residential community has access during an emergency.
Terrible emergency department, all around. The night shift is especially heinous; they will just watch you suffer and make it clear that you're an inconvenience to them. You're getting paid $40+/hr, do your jobs! If you don't know how to have compassion, find a different career. I have had an absolutely horrible experience particularly with the P.A Matthew. He was very rude and dismissive of my concerns. Normally this is a 5 star ER for our family but that specific P.A left a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel disappointed to still not have many answers or improvements in my health. They diagnosed it “pink eye”.
Came in for left chest and rib pain, Shortness of breathe, accompanied with a history of Pulmonary Embolisms within the last 6 months. What have they done: Take bloodwork and an EKG and I've been sent out to wait in the lobby with an IV tapped to my arm, while I wait for results and/or an open room. I'm glad they have taken me SO seriously........... SMH.
