I give one star to the lady who took me back to have my x-rays and cat Scan she was the only good thing about this night. I was treated very poorly by the staff at this facility. It started when an IV in my arm hurt and I asked someone about it, instead of replying with some kind of compassion they told me it couldn't possibly hurt like I don't know what pain is. My husband had an excellent experience with Dr.Piscitelli and his nurse Brent Cole last evening. Dr Piscitelli and Brent were very conscientious, thorough, kind and responsive in their work assessing and treating my husbands medical concern. They were both warm and receptive to our ideas but spent great time in getting the correct diagnosis. They were great. It's very concerning that this is the "best" medical care to which the residential community has access during an emergency.
Terrible emergency department, all around. The night shift is especially heinous; they will just watch you suffer and make it clear that you're an inconvenience to them. You're getting paid $40+/hr, do your jobs! If you don't know how to have compassion, find a different career. Honestly, this emergency department staff is **medically negligent** and the only reason they haven't been shut down for a high accident/mortality rate is because they will discharge you within 30 minutes of arriving by ambulance and have security wh... read more
