We need to demand a better hospital in our area. The emergency room is a scary scary joke. I called 911 for worst pain in my life and they didn’t bring me to the hospital. I drove myself the next day. Had to have emergency ERCP and gallbladder removal and they literally acted like they had to just worry about when I could fit into their schedule there and wanted to make me do multiple surgeries IN THE SAME DAY. I drove myself again from there to Regions hospital because they wouldn’t do a transfer. Regions did both surgeries... read more
I cannot believe my experience I just had trying to call the hospital about my mom who just had a stroke. I have a autistic son at home so I can't go see her .. The Operators kept hanging up on me and telling me my mom is not there and when I asked to talk to a supervisor they transferred me to a voicemail- the voicemail said ask for after hours supervisor so I asked.. and they wouldn't transfer me they didn't help they kept hanging up on me!!! This was my first visit to the clinic, and overall, it was a positive experience. I would like to express my appreciation for Nurse Katie. She was kind, attentive, and provided excellent care. The IV she administered was painless and left no bruising, and her thoughtful gesture of bringing a warm blanket for my feet did not go unnoticed. As for the doctor, while I found him pleasant, I felt that he did not fully listen to my concerns. Terrible treatment for the first 24 hours. I fractured my L1 (burst compression fracture) in fall and they left me laying with no call light once i finally got it off wall and the nursing station answered call light (said someone would come in) and still no one came in for 8 hours i rang it once an hour but left with no help.. first dr was very rude I cried for hours in pain with bps 170/130
