Was there for 5 hrs never once saw a dr
One of the worst places to go. If you are dying or have something critically wrong you are better off driving to lee summit. You will probably be seen faster that way. They dont call it Death valley for nothing.
Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever seen on speed. Waited over 3 hours in waiting for my wife. Seen countless others in serve pain including a baby that appeared to have a hernia and left sitting in waiting room. Don’t come here unless you want to wait half a day and contemplate driving somewhere else after the extensive wait. Not impressed at all. If this is the kind of customer service they provide I would be ashamed to work for a place like this.
Took my 14 yr old daughter to the ER after she had been running a high fever over 24 hrs. Intake nurse was nice. The nurse on staff after we were placed in the room, were less then personal if at all and had no bed side manner and there were dirty gloves on the floor, the nurse left trash on the counters and the trash can was full. Do better GVMH ER staff!!
This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. I should have known when this couple was walking out as I was walking in said to everyone. “Good luck”. There staff was rude and didn’t care. I went in at 12:30am because my face swelled up from a toothache. There was three people in front of me. I didn’t get in until three or four hours after being there and even then they put me in a psychiatric room. So I didn’t have to wait longer the nurse said. And no one ever came in to see me at all.
