I recently visited the ER at Holy Cross Hospital for a fractured finger and was fortunate enough to be treated by Dr. Dan Humphreys. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely compassionate—just an overall great human being. ER visits can be stressful, but his excellent bedside manner put me completely at ease. Dr. Humphrey and the Care Team at CommonSpirit Holy Cross ER are incredible. They are professional, compassionate, and are genuinely committed to helping people in difficult situations. It’s clear they take the time to listen, evaluate what’s going on, and make sure patients get the care and guidance they need in an emergency.

I went to the ER the morning of April 5th with terrible abdominal pain. I had gastric bypass surgery December of 2024 so I was very worried it had to do with that. They did a CT scan, blood work, gave me some pain meds and sent me home because everything was “normal.” A few hours later, I returned to the ER because I was still having horrible pain. They did blood tests again, a urine sample, and gave me more meds. This was a different doctor than the first one, and he again said everything was normal and no other tests were ... read more
