Cancer patient with classed urgent condition tried two days in a row to be seen...no go...absolutely shameful, attitude of nursing staff was aweful, no compassion acting like you were a bother. Observed them being rude to patients day one, day two not much better.
waited over 24 hours without seeing a doctor, due to lack of beds, This system is doomed, they say the healthcare isn't bad but deep down they know it's gone, This place is HELL is all I can explain how it is, Nurses are extremely rude, I get it overwhelmed but don't take it out on the patients!!!!! if you are a triage level 4 , expect to be there for 2 days, I was a level 2 (Emergent) and I was still waiting 24 hours beyond...next time I will bring a sleeping bag and a pillow !!
The switchboard operator is extremely polite & professional. Instead of giving you a number (which most do) she always connects you to the unit. Well done.
