if you can, go to mount sinai beth israel for pediatrics they have much better bedside manner and took me a lot more seriously!!! difference was night & day I had an acute infection and abscess and they denied me antibiotics and violated HIPAA several times. It took forever to get me discharged with no medication because they had no idea how to handle an unaccompanied minor legally (In an ER in NYC… really? do you not get kids/teens alone ever?) and when I went to Mt Sinai like an hour after discharge I was immediately given... read more

Excellent staff! I am an extremely difficult person to get an IV on and they generally can get me. They are so nice there too! I love the nurses!!!!!!

Avoid this hospital at all costs. I went there for an emergency and was discharged 10 hours later with TWO SETS OF DISCHARGE PAPERS WITH CONFLICTING INFORMATION AND TREATMENT PLANS. The patient advocate line never answers - I even called Dr. Robert Grossman who is CEO of NYU Health - I was told he does not speak to patients. I guess you get to a level of importance where arrogance takes over and you can’t be bothered with the little people.
