The physician ordered lab tests, which revealed an abnormal white blood cell count. Despite this, I was told that my lab results were “great” and nothing to worry about. if you can, go to mount sinai beth israel for pediatrics they have much better bedside manner and took me a lot more seriously!!! difference was night & day I had an acute infection and abscess and they denied me antibiotics and violated HIPAA several times. It took forever to get me discharged with no medication because they had no idea how to handle an unaccompanied minor legally (In an ER in NYC… really? do you not get kids/teens alone ever?) and when I went to Mt Sinai like an hour after discharge I was immediately given... read more
Excellent staff! I am an extremely difficult person to get an IV on and they generally can get me. They are so nice there too! I love the nurses!!!!!!
