Excellent staff! I am an extremely difficult person to get an IV on and they generally can get me. They are so nice there too! I love the nurses!!!!!!
Avoid this hospital at all costs. I went there for an emergency and was discharged 10 hours later with TWO SETS OF DISCHARGE PAPERS WITH CONFLICTING INFORMATION AND TREATMENT PLANS. The patient advocate line never answers - I even called Dr. Robert Grossman who is CEO of NYU Health - I was told he does not speak to patients. I guess you get to a level of importance where arrogance takes over and you can’t be bothered with the little people. NYU the reason why they say NYU is the number one hospital in New York City because it’s true.I didn’t even know what was wrong with me. NYU doctors nurses and staff worked hard to find out what was wrong with me. They ran all the necessary needed tests and they was promptly and making me feel better. I was able to go home and now I’m recovering. Thank you NYU. NYU will be the hospital I will be go to for now on. Genuinely caring staff, from the security people to front office to transport to nurses and physicians. They were very respectful in their interactions with us, other patients we saw, and each other. The entire staff seemed to really get along and help each other out. They were very efficient and had excellent communication. We are very grateful with the care we received.
