Never seen such egregious overbilling following such horrible, inattentive care. 5k for a single xray and an IV of saline. Y’all should be investigated, this is unethical and disgustingly greedy at BEST.
I have had some bad experiences here with a couple of doctors, but Dr. Wettstein is not one of them. He is an excellent physician, treated my pain appropriately, actually performed bedside tests himself, talked to me at length and made me feel seen. He’s also willing to listen when there is a miscommunication and was even helpful one time after I left the ER and had a medication question. He wasn’t annoyed to hear from me, but kind and gracious. Went here with my mom on Sunday afternoon after she experienced some chest pain and numbness on one side. I thought the staff were excellent, very competent, friendly, and even funny. They were very patient with my mom, who was understandably distressed. Our nurses, James and Donovan, were great, and the ER doctor assigned to us gave us some sound advice, was experienced, and caring.
I visited the Emergency Room at UW Medical Center – Northwest for a medical evaluation and documentation after I was assaulted. From the moment I arrived, every doctor, nurse, and staff member treated me with kindness, compassion, and respect. They were incredibly gentle during the examination, carefully documented my injuries, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
