Sunday night I went to this hospital it was treated somewhat decently actually it was not bad it was pretty good. Last night Wednesday as instructed in my discharge papers. The pain hadn't got better it was worse and I needed a refill of the three days worth of medicine they gave me for pain. I went to UW Medicine (NW Campus) for help after a suicide attempt. What I experienced instead was neglect and intimidation. I’m diabetic and was denied food and water for 4+ hours. I fell and hit my head around 2:00 AM and didn’t get help until 3:36 AM. A doctor refused to see me. My pain medication wasn’t given correctly until 6 AM. I asked staff to call my wife (my medical proxy) after my injury—they refused, claiming it was “outside business hours.” But they called her at 1:30 AM for medication info and she told them to ... read more
