Our healthcare system is broken. 5-6 hour wait if your dying, bleeding or in serious pain this place is an understaffed joke. It supposed to be a EMERGENCY ROOM. How is this place so understaffed with these horrendous waiting times.Worst medical experience in my 11 years in Seattle if you have an emergency don’t EVER go here. This place saved my life. Other ERs kept discharging me and I got here in hemorrhagic shock. Drs and nurses were very quick providing care and they really made sure I was okay before discharge. Will only go here if I have a choice.
At 8 weeks pregnant, I experienced bright red bleeding, so my husband took me to the ER. At reception, I asked how long the stay would be and was told it would take about 1–2 hours. After waiting for about an hour, I was taken to an exam room, but no one explained how to put on the gown, and no nurse stayed with me. The room was extremely unhygienic, with blood splattered on surfaces, including the door handle. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. We came to the emergency room for a critical problem. What was an emergency situation did not get any attention. We got in line and waited a few hours even though the volume of patients was low. I can t call this place an emergency room. It is not different from any walk-in clinic. This is supposed to be one of the best hospitals in the State.
"Let me put you on a brief hold" proceeds to place on hold for more than fifteen minutes
