While it does take awhile, because there are so many people who need help compared to staff when I did actually get help all the staff were great and super kind. I broke my foot and I heard constantly how I was in the best place for this treatment. The surgeon was able to repair the issue with minimal invasiveness. I'd love to go back and thank them again at some point.
I had a very disappointing experience with Chi, who works as a Nurse Helper on the 6th floor, 6 East primarily answering phones. She was consistently rude and unprofessional throughout my interactions. On one occasion, I simply asked to use a clipboard and was shocked when she snatched it out of my hand, claiming it contained personal information. I was being held down spread eagle in the emergency trying to catch my breath and saying,"I'm not fighting , im not fighting". I guess it must have the time , or maybe he thought us was being a wimp. So the security guard looked. Me right in the eye and elbowed me right in the middle of my chest . That stopped me from informing this around me that I was not resisting . Not honest with expectations. Coerced me to surgery and set expectations it would be in a few hours, afternoon at most. Kept changing the time, kept me hostage in a loud hallway overnight and then tell me I might have to wait until next day. Doctor says she told the nurse about delays midday, nurse claims to be clueless. If they had been honest, I would’ve left earlier and not missed a second flight. Unprofessional, disorganized and inefficient staff.
