I give the utmost credit to the Medical Superheroes at BMC. For what this Safe haven deals with on a daily basis is unexplainable; but for the amazing staff here and what they bring to the table is more than noteworthy. The service is TERRIBLE. During the shift change, the afternoon staff—as soon as the morning crew leaves—just gather to laugh and chat or make video calls, while patients are left waiting like idiots for another five hours, just picking up more viruses. Seriously, who manages the staff? Nobody! The doctor finally came to discharge me—only because I asked for it—after six hours; I had already read the results, yet she hadn't even done that herself. Very horrible place to go for emergency. I lost my mum due to racism, negligence and unprofessional treatment. The hospital should be shut down because the services are no longer good or compared to other hospitals. I pray that any of those specialists that were involved in the treatment during my mum's treatment, they willl remain in thesame position. I would not recommend this place not even to an enemy, worst customer service ever, wait time to talk to an nurse or even a doctor more than 4 hours, On top of their sheer unwillingness to attend to anyone here, they take an eternity to do anything—even just to get you a glass of water. They refused to speak with my husband and me regarding his mother, who is currently admitted here, and told us to just go home because they would call us later.
