Very rude, unpleasant nurses haunt the emergency department at night. One could see them working for the Gestapo. The doctors seriously need lessons in personal hygiene, one smells like a public toilet. That's you, Hussein.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have been having issues with my hearts rhythm. Skyrocketed to 161 today out of nowhere. Felt awful and was advised to go to the ER. Went here because massena doesn't want to help anyone. Took 1 hr to get in to malone. Nurse finally got me in a room and did a horrendous job hooking up the EKG. Didn't listen to me telling her my symptoms. Another nurse came in and basically did the same and never acknowledged my issues. She leaves and then I wait. My teenage daughter cut herself and, since it looked like she might need stitches, off to the ER we went. The staff was very sweet and we were in and out in less than an hour! Granted we were there when it wasn’t busy but, even so, the nurses, the doctor, and the clerical staff were great!

Also, as a nurse myself, I know that working in the emergency department can be thankless and stressful, but the staff spends a lot of time flirting/joking/laughing behind curtains. Clearly they enjoy their jobs and the company of their fellow staff, but as a patient in excruciating pain waiting two and a half hours after triage for pain relief and IV fluids, it's annoying and makes them come off as if they don't care, t... read more

I knew I tore my achilles and when I went in To the ER,and they only gave an X_ray and a poorly formed splint.Told me to wait all weekend and call a specialist on monday. They should have pushed for an MRI So that the process did not have to take as long as it did. I went to Lake Placid Sports Med that monday and within 2 minutes the doc knew it was a torn achilles, and added me on for MRI and surgery within 24 hrs.
