The worst emergency experience of my life. I waited for more than an hour in excruciating pain from a pinched sciatic nerve, and they showed no empathy. I would rather drive 50 minutes to Mater Emergency in South Brisbane, which is ten times better and faster than going to Redlands Hospital emergency again.

Came in at 1am and still not seen by a doctor at 6am. Doctors havnt come out to call patient for 3 hours and worst thing is 2 patient cane in 2 hours after me then got checked before me just 1 hour waiting. Please pick your service and be consistent

Presented at emergency with my 18 year old Autistic son. Non verbal, with intellectual impairment. He could not understand why we had to wait so long. With no information or clarity on our situation. out of his routine he continued to rock while standing as no chairs were available, his stimming became worse as his anxiety was becoming high. My 82-yo wife had a fall in Capalaba Centre car park. She managed to drive to the Redland Emergency Dept in Redland Bay, was quite quickly seen, and a badly-broken arm diagnosed. A plaster was put on it, and my wife was then driven by a friend to Greenslopes Hospital for further CT-scan diagnosis and treatment. At the Emergency Dept she was seen quite quickly, within less than an hour, treated very quickly thereafter, and dealt with in an extremely helpful and supportive manner by staff there.
