I don't know why this Emergency room has such poor ratings. I came in on Monday night around 6pm when there were already a half dozen patients waiting ahead of me and another half dozen or so showed up after I'd registered. A pretty busy waiting room. Despite that they got me a room pretty quickly (within about 45min) and then we're extremely professional and thorough. Everyone was nice and caring and seemingly very competent. Just a terrible experience. Staff doesn’t care and doctors are unprofessional don’t waste your time. You being in the hospital is an inconvenience to them. Just make the trip to Jacksonville.
I was nervous reading the reviews when I came in here worrying I had meningitis. However, the staff was kind quick and proficient and got me in and out in less than two hours. Wonderful experience.
Absolute worst hospital the only good part is maternity and the ob and pedeatric side of things i have a 1 month old and I called the er to ask them a quick question because I'm a first time dad and my wife is a first time mother and our baby was sleeping in his bassinet and spit up and had trouble breathing so I called to ask them if I needed to bring him to the er because he began to wheez and struggled to cry luckly I figured out what I needed to do and he was okay but calling them and them telling me they can't tell me t... read more
If you love your family members, don’t go here just go to JAX . they almost killed my dad and don’t even know how to take care of diabetics. I also tried to call and ask what even happened to my dad and they hung up on me. There is a major lack of hospitality or professionalism.
