During my intake, I was told that because of my trauma history, I could participate in a women’s trauma group at no cost. If I wanted to be a part of the group I had to attend 2x weekly even though I only had to go once per week otherwise. This was the only way I could afford treatment at the time. Went in for a evaluation. I was told that I was gonna do 1 day a week. I gave them A. Ua, they said it had alcohol in it, and said that I must now attend a three day a week class. I asked him for a retest, in order to dismiss any possible false positives. I explained to the staff that I work 10 to 12 hour shifts and am on call every Second week for the weekend and had no ability to do anything more than a 1 day a week program because it would affect the finances of my household, since i'm the only income, and possibly make m... read more
