RecommendedExcellent abuser education and training!!! Excellent facilitators and instructors who are extremely passionate and dedicated about their work. They continue to stay on the cutting edge through extensive research in the field of abuser education. Trainings for batterer intervention certification as well as continuing education are excellent.
I am a family law attorney and psychologist. I went to the EMERGE Training and was very disappointed. The presenter was boring and redundent. He had a political axe to grind, coming from a far left, PC facist view, kept injecting so called 'racial issues' over and over, putting down Whites, etc. What a bum!
Although my ex did not complete the program at Emerge, the staff there gave me the support I badly needed. I also needed information about what was happening to my family. Emerge helped me to better understand the dynamic so that I could break the cycle and work towards peace and happiness for my children and myself. I will always appreciate the staff at Emerge although I am sure most of them do not even realize the path they put me on. I wrote a book about our experiences and in 2010 it was published.
