Emerald Rose is One of Our Favorites My husband and I love the Emerald Rose. We do go early enough to not hit the crowds. If it is crowded, it can be noisy in the bar area, but you have to expect that. I had the prime rib last Friday and I haven't stopped talking about it to everyone I see. The service was excellent as we were taken care of by two very good waitresses. Looking forward to our next visit.
Emerald Rose needs to improve Its a nice restaurant, however, I was disappointed when we went there in august to celebrate our anniversary with a friend and ended up getting pieces of ribs yet we had ordered full racks. We thought of complaining and decided against it and to enjoy our day but we gave a good tip. Next time, serve people their money's worth and what they order for irrespective of any reservations you may have. Disregard Please disregard any prior reviews written by Billerica filth complaining of high drink prices. The prices are typical unless you're accustomed to other Billerica bars where whiskey is served complimentary in a dixey cup to young children. Only the finest and strapping of chaps may set foot on the grounds of the faithful Emerald Rose! Riff raff locals are dealt with and swiftly cut down!
Over-priced and bad service I very rarely frequent the Emerald Rose even though I can walk there. The drinks are over-priced and the service is horrible (even when it is not busy). And when the place closes the neighboring residents have to contend with the noise, the trash and the filth.
Irish Pub and dining The Rose as she is called it a great place to get together with friends and make new ones. The dining room on one side and the Pub on the other. It is a good restaurant to go to have a great dinner and drinks. Try it if your in the neighborhood sometime!
great irish food The emerald rose is a great place to go to with friends they have really good Irish/American food, and they have a nice little balcony you can sit on in the warm weather, really good food and really good prices
