They're garbage. Another place where the bills go up and service gets worse. I moved and thought I paid everything after moving. Rather than sending me a bill or calling me I was sued. They didn't even send it to collections and it never showed up on my credit. Just sued.
I've been a customer of all of the area's utility companies over the years and my experience with EPUD has been, by far, the best! They are so on top of communication anytime there's an outage and their crews work so quickly to restore our power. Their customer service folks are friendly, their website is easy to navigate and their prices seem fair. We don't have a choice of utility company but if we did, I would happily continue to choose EPUD again and again.
Absurd billing costs. Our bill has increased over 30% within a year and we aren’t even running heaters yet. I called to speak with someone who transferred me to energy services where I was forced to leave a voicemail and not able to speak to a live person. Frustrating and unhelpful. I should not be paying over $200/month for a house barely over 1,000 square feet.
