Best apartment experience I’ve had. Shelly and other front office staff are always available during open hours and maintenance is very responsive. In my experience, the staff works hard to ensure tenants enjoy their time at Emerald Lakes. The pool is great but the gym is small. Overall 10/10 recommend.

Update- spoke with some one just to be told I don’t make enough. Never was asked for additional income. I literally only provided check stubs nothing else. Also, have an Identity theft case pending this complex is doing the bare minimum with background checks credit reports etc. I asked for a copy of my credit report. Awaiting to see what’s on it. Waiting to see what rent grow has reported. I’m 33 years old with fours kids who’s going to have a guarantor at my age realistically. No one even told me why I was denied so I’m co... read more

Lived here for two years. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for the price you pay. Management is iffy. Terrance was not super helpful and was rarely to be found. Office hours closed at random. Pool not heated, and closes at random. Great park for kids close by. Walking distance to movie theater, mall, and stores. Our hot water tank pilot went out 12 times before they actually replaced it. After living in many different complexes over the years, this is by far the favorite. Great location, great staff, safe, etc. well responsive to maintenance requests. If moving in from out of town, this is the place to be, central to many restaurants, mall, and the interstate. Close to base, yet secluded off the main roadways.

I would NOT recommend living here. There were issues right from the moment you signed the lease. Make sure to keep all documents they send you—she messed up the deposit price and the room number, which I had to ask her to fix multiple times be for signing. Also, when you move out, make sure you hire a professional to clean your room. Otherwise, the landlord will charge you for everything, even dirt on the faucet from regular use.
