We were hired by Gerry to install silt fencing at one of his projects in Elk Grove Village. When he called in the order the fencing he was very nice over the phone. Once the fencing was installed and we called him to charge him he kept making excuse after excuse. This invoice that he owes has been past due since April 7th 2020. We till this day still call him to charge him for the invoice and he will 1. not answer or 2. answer and pretend to put me on hold and he put's his phone back into his pocket until I decide to hang up... read more
Gerry Carey and Emerald inc. is a highly unprofessional construction builder. Had contracted with them for a home construction and it was a very unpleasant experience. The project was delayed for more than 18 months with no explanation for the delay. On repeated questioning about the delay Gerry did not take any responsibility and would always turn a deaf ear to any follow ups. Avoid at all cost.
Gerry Carey (Emerald Inc) is not at all a trusted contractor. Have seen significant delays with his construction projects and he always seems to be profit minded for himself. Does not care about his clients and never seems to be answerable to them. Avoid his service.
