Tough course but fun! Not in too bad shape, some sketchy greens spots but overall descent.

Emerald Falls is a great course with true greens, challenging holes and incredible service. I'm a [just above scratch] decent player and find the greens roll without bumps and the holes to be diverse and professional. During the hot summer they provide a cooler of ice cold water at the turn and range balls are always included with the green fee. I was hesitant to write this review because I enjoy the isolated atmosphere but more people need to play this great course.

A difficult golf course. To echo Trey's sentiments, it's not for the inexperienced golfer or a high handicapper. The course demands that you hit a well struck ball and the greens are some of the best, if not the best in Tulsa. The pace of play is fast, greens are fast and the course plays long. As mentioned, the layout is a little quirky and the course has its issues but for the money and the overall condition I would argue that it's one of the best in Tulsa and surrounding.

We took some inexperienced golfers to introduce them to golf and even with skipping a hole and picking up balls to make sure we were not slowing anyone behind us, as well as waiting three times to let those behind us play through, we had complaints as to how long we took. This was only due to the fact that we had small kids in the cart, who did not play, but were just riding. I have golfed this course with other more experience golfers and still felt pushed, even in... read more

The issues stated before me are to some level probably accurate. This course is not for beginners. For the courtesy of all players Emerald Falls tries there best to keep the pace of play to 4.5 hours or so. If you'd like to play 5.5 hours on a family course please find LaFortune to your liking. The grass on the fairways and greens are the best in town. They have come through a hard season last year (as many courses did). The fairways are zoysia it's a fantasic grass. Very strong (they rarely are cart paths only here at EF) Y... read more
