My partner and I hired Emerald Doulas to help us find a postpartum doula. Melanie, who runs Emerald Doulas, was fantastic in shepherding us along the process. She got on the phone with me once I requested a consultation and chatted through what kind of support I wanted from a doula, went over what doulas could do to support us, and went over our schedule. We partnered with Emerald Doulas for our birth education class. Andrea was beyond informative. We learned so much and were able to practice what we needed to feel comfortable and prepared. I'm so glad we have their expertise in the Triangle!
We had a fantastic experience with Rae. She was incredibly reliable and caring with our newborn during a very difficult time for us. I would highly recommend her as a doula.
We used Emerald Doulas for the birth of our daughter in 2022 and for postpartum support in 2026. I cannot recommend them more highly! They are professional, caring, and flexible. When we realized we needed some help with our second baby, we were able to get a doula the very next week. We worked with Bridget, who is just spectacular. She held our newborn so we could rest, folded laundry while I was feeding him, and offered calm reassurance. Worth every penny!
We cannot say enough great things about Emerald Doulas! We had a wonderful experience with Melanie and Bridget who both taught us a lot before baby arrived. I rented the TENS unit for labor and it was very helpful for pain control during my induction and the rental process was easy and convenient. Highly recommend Emerald Doulas!
