Ton of fun. The hike in was shall we say all up hill but not bad. They could have used a little more water pressure but it got the job done

Had a great time with a few friends yesterday.
My son and I loved emerald Creek last year. So much so that I'm going with my father this year. I went during the summer last year and it definitely gets hot on top of the hill. There's some umbrellas up for shade but bring lots of water and sunscreen during a hot day. Other wise I found great garnet specimen ranging from pea size to golf ball size. I'm attaching a picture with one stone on top of my camera light to show you the brilliance of the stone.
We have gone three years in a row. We have made great family memories and hope to make many more. Thank you
