I had a terrible experience at this gym. I walked in today hoping to learn more and potentially sign up, but the salesperson, who claimed to be a manager, was incredibly rude and manipulative. After the tour, I expressed interest in the Access Membership. He told me I needed to pay a $149 startup fee, around $60 in processing fees, plus the first and last month’s membership fees, on top of an annual maintenance fee that is due in a month. Seattle doesn’t have a ton of lifting-focused gyms, especially at a reasonable price point. This place gets the job done and is super affordable. It is spacious and clean, and has some very nice locker rooms and showers. It’s got everything you need for a basic workout. Unless you’re a competitive bodybuilder / powerlifter, you’re probably not going to notice or care about its limitations.
