I would never go out of my way to write A review unless it was truly horrible. We literally checked in and I cancelled my stay after an hour and moved to a different hotel… This was the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in. The photos make this place seem like a nice boutique hotel with character. I think a motel 6 has better quality than this garbage bin.. smells like mold. I am staying here right now with my family in a 2 bedroom suite. The location is awesome! I can’t ask for better. We did have a couple of issues with our room, but the manager, Rachael, made up for it. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Emeline is perfect, conveniently located in the heart of Charleston. We walked our dogs everywhere, browsed at shops, and discovered a section with cobblestones and park! Do not miss Clerk's coffee in their lobby. Ashley at front desk most friendly most notable easiest checkout!

A great location right in the heart of downtown and able to walk to almost everything, including the City Market and great restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and has a cool, upscale retro vibe. The rooms are spacious and comfortable The staff was super helpful. Don't miss out on drinks in the courtyard or grabbing a coffee downstairs at Clerks. Valet is pricey, but absolutely worth it for the convenience and the service was great. There doesn't seem to be a viable alternative nearby. Would definitely stay her... read more

The location is great, the hotel itself is nice, and the rooms are small but comfortable. However, the service at the restaurant needs attention. The unpleasant attitude of the ladies working there was a huge disappointment.
