Terrible i mean absolutely terrible insurance company. Been passed on to different employees because “they’re out of office”. Never getting calls back emails or text messages. Dragging their feet on rental car it’s been a month and couple of days since accident and still haven't set me up with a rental. I have a claim with EMC against one of their commercial insureds. The driver of a pickup truck hit my car (which was parked) and took off. I did not see it happen, but someone else did including the company logo on the side of the pickup. I reported it as a hit and run. To be clear, the adjuster handling the damage to my car accepted liability immediately and EMC will pay for the repairs and rental car (of course they should so I don’t view this as particularly benevolent:)) My complaint is with a different adjuster who said... read more

It took them 4 months to complete a claim. Very minimal effort from Austin. Even though they said the company they represented wasn’t at fault, I’m more frustrated with the fact that the lack of communication seemed very common and normal. I would hate to have them represent my company for insurance. I broke my arm because of the negligence of a company they represent and was denied a claim. You guys are the absolute worst.

Had to deal with them after my car was totaled by one of their policy holders. Quite possibly one of the worst experiences with insurance in my life. My settlement representative would take days if not weeks to respond to simple questions, their offer was below what it should have been, and not only that but they sent my check in regular mail making my payment late.

Update: call center was very helpful! Working to get our issues resolved. They do NOT do commercial insurance. DOT will drop you. They took our money. Never finished documents for UCR or MC. Thank goodness we never had to file a claim. We canceled and never got our money back.
