I wanted to leave a review of my experience at Embrace Your Curl. I travelled from Texas to Toronto to get microloc extensions. I was charged for 400 locs yet only 210 were actually installed on my head. I have no issues with that because of course loc counts depends on density, head size, etc. What I do have a problem with is the fact that I was still charged for the full 400 and I hadn’t realized that until after I was back in Texas. I flew all the way from Dallas, TX just to get my hair done by Chiggy. I got the interlocked microloc extensions and I’m so in love with them. Also, this is by far the best customer service I’ve ever had in a salon before. Genuinely feel like they care about me as a person and not just as a client. Even the most hospitable American salons don’t have this level of customer service. This place deserves to be beyond booked and busy!!!
Each time I have had my micro locs retightened at Embrace Your Curl, I have been extremely pleased with the service. Nathan re-tightened my micro locs during my most recent visit, and I have to highlight the amazing job Nathan did with my hair. Nathan’s patience and attention to detail is exceptional!! Chiggy is professional, friendly, bubbly and really really good at what she does. I was so enlightened by my experience with her at her salon. It’s hard to find the words to express how happy I was and still AM with her services. If you are contemplating starting your locs/ natural hair journey, Chiggy and her team are no doubt some of the best in the GTA
