I followed Dr Laura here from a different office because she is one of the best medical professionals i have ever known and was greatly impressed with Embrace. It is such a comfortable environment here unlike the clinical way most medical offices are. You actually talk to your doctor in their office unless you need to be examined. I just can't say enough good things about this practice and Dr. Chelsea. I've been a member for about 9 months but really hadn't needed to use the practice. Now it seems I've developed a medical issue that needs attention. Had lots of blood work done during my first meeting and then came back for my results and to discuss a treatment plan. If you're frustrated with finding health care where the "professionals" actually care about your personal health, the direct primary care model is the way to go. It's back to basics, where the Doctor knows you and wants you healthy, rather than just treating you as a billing event to please a corporation. Dr. Burgin is doing the good stuff, caring for people as real humans, not just another customer to crank through the broken insurance based system.
