I have been a client of Embodiwork for over 10 years, and have never found the level of care and attention to detail that Shalene brings to body work. I was not a huge proponent of body work before going to Shalene, and she completely changed my perspective on the importance of this component of holistic health. Shalene takes great care in understanding where different pain points or something is just "off" in the body, and I am amazed at her ability to relieve what is going on every time I see her.

Embodiwork Studio was recommended to me by a friend. I have had Sciatica pain for about 4 months. When I arrived at my first session, my pain was an 8-10. I began to feel relief during my treatment. By the 3rd treatment my pain level was at a 2-3…after 5 sessions, I have discomfort in the am until I have taken my morning walk and loosened up my hip area. I was in town for a month and was fortunate to have found Shalene. Her bodywork is amazing! She’ll find all the kinks and work them out…..even the ones you didn’t know you had! She is extremely professional, friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. The studio is very welcoming and you’ll feel relaxed the moment you walk in the door.
