Their billing department denied a medical claim from a medical provider and asked that it be submitted as a behavior health claim. That is a textbook definition of MEDICAL FRAUD. Their "automated system" does not listen, denies factual data, and does not allow to speak to a human being. EmblemHealth is actively engaging in MEDICAL FRAUD and HARM by denying properly filed claims.
It is the whole company horrible customer service the grieving process is a joke they're not informative i am now stuck with a very large lab bill same doctor 15yrs in network different office out of network one year after the visit l was informed l am responsible 😕
HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. After fighting with these incompetents for months, I finally contacted MEDICARE and filed a complaint. Short story---- I have been paying out of pocket for a covered service for 4 years now. I am a diabetic. They don't want to reimburse me -- but they do acknowledge it was their "mis-step".
