I called embers to ashes to have brick and mortar work done on our chimney. I spoke with Travin L*****, Who claims to be vice president and owner of the company. He is a great sales person, and will offer more than what he really does. he is not completely truthful with all his words. Some of the work I am pleased with other parts of it, I am not so pleased. I was ripped off nearly $3k and did not approve or consent to having my deposit check cashed and he did it anyways and took off out of town with my money ignoring my please to get my deposit back. He did no work yet, felt entitled to my money when I clearly left him many messages saying I needed service adjustment and would only be in need of some of the services and needed total adjusted in which he ignored me and took off for the weekend with my mo having done zero work for it.

I called Embers to Ashes to clean and inspect my Chimney the owners son came out and was very knowledgeable and impressive. He did a amazing job and found dangerous hazards and repaired them that day. I highly recommend this company to family and friends.

The service rep was polite and on time. He cleaned the chimney and checked it out. He then suggested that I have some brick joints filled and my fire box sealed with fire ***** It was expensive, but I wanted it done right. He failed to fill some of the cracks and filled the top of my fire box with heat activated material vs the fire **** on the sides. It looks sloppy and isnt right. I spent $750.05. We had an emergency 09/02/2021 with carbon monoxide and needed help fast as the gas company turned off our appliances and gas and gave a red tag. I called people for days and all anyone would say is how far in the future theyre scheduling. I had an emergency and no one but me saw it that way. I finally ran across Embers to Ashes and they came within 20 minutes!!!! They saw it as the emergency it was! They came and assessed and fixed it same day! Called David at Ember to Ashes for pricing and to check availability for his services. A lot of other chimney sweeping companies were booked until January and was hoping he could do it sooner. He had an availability that was in the time frame we were looking for, but wanted to check with my spouse before booking because he as ALMOST DOUBLE IN PRICE compared to other companies. To all concerned, Dave L***** of Embers to Ashes repaired and updated my firebox ( for safety) and chimney. I fully recommend his company, Dave was very punctual, very thorough and knowledge. Very professional,and polite. He explained every step of the work he was doing. We highly recommend David L*****, he pretty much rebuild our chimney, without having to tear it down. We are happy to know it is safe to use again.
