Amazing experience! Xavier was our server and he is the best!! We highly recommend trying this awesome spot!!
The food and portions are great, we had no issues with the food, but want to share some other things you should know before you go. First off, they dont allow guests under 14 on Fridays and weekends which we weren't told. We drove 2 hours to get there and had a 13 yr old so we lied about her age. What is the point of this rule? They turned away multiple guests and the restaurant was pretty much empty while we were there. Disappointing experience tonight. We came to Ember around 5:30 PM with our baby, only to be told at the door that children under 14 are not allowed after 5 PM. We had no idea about this policy and weren’t aware of it from the information available online. I completely understand that a restaurant can have an age restriction, but I think this should be made much more clearly visible on Google and online, especially since families may be coming specifically for dinner. Super unfriendly environment. No order to the waitlist line. People just walk in and wait at the front. Have a proper line with proper hosts at the front. The guy with longer hair we talked to was so rude and condescending. Because we had a baby? Asked us to not wait by the table and to go. Go where? Super rude. Will not return.
Posting this because it’s been well past 60 hours since I messaged them privately about what happened and have been ignored as was my Facebook post on their page yesterday. Dinner reservation at 7:15 Tuesday for 2 to celebrate anniversary - treated incredibly poorly including being sat right beside a large party with three young children who played shows on tablets at high volume the entire dinner and ignored by staff who fawned over this party and offered zero customer service to other paying customers.
