This is our second time to a embassy suites hotel in the same week. We're military family drove from north carolina to California. First embassy was awesome no problems, this embassy here Palmdale CA. We checked in yesterday around 6pm no problems, until this morning during breakfast time. When we check in for breakfast the female breakfast attendant had a attitude and made a joke about my kid's looks older than their age. So my company put me in this hotel for a couple of days. I was in the second floor right above the lobby roof. During those days a big storm came through and when I woke up in the morning the carpet in the bedroom and living room area were completely wet under the windows. I checked the windows and they were closed and sealed so it most of came through the walls along the lobby roof line. I called downstairs and notified them and was told they'll dry the carpets. Very nice hotel, but they charge you for parking whether you park or not, and leave it up to you to fix the bill later. They don't have a way to track parking, so they just add it to your bill. This happened two stays in a row, even when I let them know when checking in that I wasn't parking. I was told the only way to solve this is that I need to check out in person and fix the bill while checking out. If I check out in the app (as I do), I need to call to fix it, which then takes a supervisor. It's not a big deal, they kin... read more

Came here on a road trip between NorCal and SoCal. Initially it was a good experience with smooth check in. Then we had a room with a broken pull out bed that they did have someone check on at 10pm but could not fix. The bartender and the omelet cook were really great and definitely trying their best with the number of guests they had to serve.
