The goods: - The room was nice and clean - Breakfast was good The bad: - Parking is expensive. I understand it's standard now for hotels to charge for parking, but it feels like a slap in the face to have to pay for parking and walk into the hotel and see a rental car counter in the lobby. The boulder public transit system is not great and there is no airport shuttle, so a car and the parking fee is almost mandatory. - The front desk experience is really subpar. The good: 2 free drinks every day at happy hour and the breakfast was pretty good. Location was convenient. The bad: other reviews have mentioned the loud, unyielding blast of the A/C - it’s totally true. I didn’t get a good night’s sleep until I slept with the window open instead of using it. My room had strange choices for lighting and layout too. The toilet paper roll was too low, and the shower curtain was too short so water spilled everywhere.

This is a phenomenal hotel, and other than the price, which is a bit on the high side, there is very little to complain about unless you're one of those people who like complaining about everything. Its location is right in the heart of Boulder, and there is clearly a lot of creativity and thoughtfulness poured into this place, certainly compared to the average hotel.
