We had a wonderful experience with Embark. It was a big decision to send my 13 year old daughter from NY to Oregon. Having spent nearly three months there, I never had to feel concerned for her safety or well-being. The staff at this facility is truly caring and professional, they kept us in the loop every step of the way. My 10 year old daughter, now 11, spent 5 months at Embark Bend, OR and it was both the hardest and best choice I've ever made for her (and the family). Nothing we had tried until then had made any difference and home life was incredibly stressful for all family members. My child just got home from 90 days at Embark Bend and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for intensive help/therapy for your child. I was very anxious and nervous about the whole situation and it being out of state, but my worries were put to ease once we were there. My daughter just returned home after 70 days at Embark in Bend, Oregon, and I would highly recommend this treatment center to any family. Unfortunately, my daughter made minimal progress, but this is due to her own resistance, as well as a complicated and unaligned family dynamic. As a parent with total reservation about residential treatment on the other side of the country, I cannot say enough good things about this program. We trusted the team at Embark with our child and they supported us before, during and after. Everyone at Embark was kind, accessible, responsive and caring.
