Overall we had a good experience here. The therapists (group and individual) were great with our son and he made progress with them. We experienced a few issues with the internal communication at the facility, which created some frustration when we visited and when we picked him up at discharge. If you send your son here make sure you get a copy of the inventory list when you drop him off and check off items from the list before you leave the facility when you pick him up. Our family’s journey through the Embark system began after my son’s stay at Sunrise, where I came to appreciate not only the quality of the clinical care and school, but also the optional parent support group and required DBT training. We are so incredibly thankful for the experience we had with Embark Behavioral Health. When we were at a total loss for our next move with our son who was experiencing behavioral issues- Embark became the option we explored and so thankful we did. From the first initial contact/call with staffing to the last- the organization of everything alone was outstanding.
