I had surgery 8/14 with Dr. Mikhail. From the beginning of his bedside manner to the surgery to the end/follow up, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Mikhail and the care I received from him and his entire team. I was referred to him after being diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis with significant bowel involvement and being told that my case was too complex for my previous doctor to operate on. Dr. Mikhail removed my 5 pound fibroid uterus and endometriosis thru an abdominal incision. I am pleased how slender my incision has healed too. He did a great job. He is a man of facts and is a straight shooter.
Horrible! I have spoken to several differnt schedulers and a RN who have steered me in the wrong directions multiple times! I needed a referral from my doctor to even see Emad Mikhail. They told me 3 different fax numbers to send it to. Weeks after it’s been sent I get a call from a nurse who informed me that that’s the wrong fax number, and I won’t be seen by Emad, only a nurse practitioner. If I could give less stars I would. I heard that Dr. Mikhail was the best at Endo and that people were flying in to see him. I also wanted to trust USF. I was on the wait list for several months for him to spend maybe 5 minutes with me, completely disregard my debilitating pain, and refuse to order the gel MRI I requested. He said it’s definitely not 2 of the 3 types including deep infiltrating but pushed me to schedule surgery even tho he said it may not help my pain.
