Dr. Tamano has been seeing me for several years. He offers solutions for my depression and he discuses with me the advantages and disadvantages to each option. He takes his time with me. I've never felt rushed. He is able to answer all of my questions adequately and in terms I can understand. I trust Dr. Tamano completely. He makes me feel like he genuinely cares about me and is only offering solutions that he feels confident in. I will remain a patient of Dr. Tamano for as long as I require phyciatric help
(+10 year patient) Dr. Tamano takes his time to listen, asks responsible questions, makes (non-medication based) suggestions for home care, and stays current on all of the latest psychiatric news, trends, and treatments. Even if I moved out-of-state, I'd find a way to keep him as my psychiatrist.
I’m quite surprised at all these great reviews. Some may dismiss my criticism of Dr. Tamano as just my own personal experience and chock it all up to me, but that doesn’t change what happened. Dr. Tamano didn’t seem to know how to help me. He gave gave me different prescriptions for over ten different medications including three different benzodiazepines.
