I have never encountered a better doctor. When I went in for testing, all the nurses and techs commented about how great she is too. You couldn't ask for someone more thorough or more caring.
In 2015 I experienced bilateral pulmonary embolisms, and even while anticoagulated, continued to develop new clots. Dr. Elwing went above and beyond the call of duty to care for me, and coordinated multidisciplinary treatment to get to the source of the condition. She was diligent until we were able to finally correct the underlying issue. She dedicated such time and attention that saved my life, and I AM grateful she was the captain of our winning team. Amazing Dr that takes in the whole picture. Spent the most time with me to go over medical history. Very caring and compassionate.
I have never met a doctor more committed to her patients. She is very thorough and respectful of your time. We live in another city but she is worth the drive. She saved my dad’s life!
